Since becoming a mother, the Stranger Things actor has shared occasional glimpses of family life while keeping her children's identities and personal details private.
That approach continued with the couple's latest addition. Brown and husband Jake Bongiovi had already given fans a small clue earlier this month, when a family holiday post from Italy showed Brown carrying their daughter while Bongiovi appeared to have a baby carrier strapped to him. The new child, however, remained out of view.
Brown and Bongiovi have now officially welcomed their second child, with the couple confirming the news through a joint Instagram post on Thursday. The photograph shows the newborn's hand alongside the hands of Brown, Bongiovi and their daughter, with Brown wearing a ring spelling out “Mom”. “Hi little guy!” they captioned the post.
The announcement came shortly after People reported that the couple had welcomed their second baby through adoption, citing a source. Their latest Instagram post confirms the arrival of the child, while the couple have not publicly revealed the baby's name or shown his face. The couple, who married in 2024, are now a family of four.
The decision follows the same privacy-first approach they took with their first child. Brown and Bongiovi announced in August 2025 that they had adopted a daughter, describing the beginning of parenthood as a new chapter they wanted to experience “in both peace and privacy”. They have since kept their daughter's name and face away from public view.
For Brown, adoption has also been something she has spoken about as a longstanding part of her plans for a family. In a June appearance on Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, she said adoption had been “always” part of her childhood dreams and added, “Adoption is love; adoption is forever.” She also clarified that she has not ruled out carrying a child herself someday.
