Actor Mille Bobby Brown has landed in a fresh controversy and is at the receiving end of massive backlash from internet users after confessing her 'pet peeve' about her husband Jake Bongiovi.
In a year-old interview for Crocs which has now resurfaced on the internet, the Stranger Things star revealed how Jake "doesn’t pack any clothes". "So we’ll leave, and I’ll have a big suitcase, and he has nothing with him. Just his phone, never really a charger. Usually, he just steals mine and then takes his computer. Then he goes, 'Mill, I don’t have any clothes'," she said, adding, "And I go, 'No s***, Sherlock. You didn’t pack anything.' And he goes, 'Yeah, I don’t know. Maybe I’ll just have to go shopping here.' And that is where he gets you. So he likes to not pack, to then go to a place to go shop for the trip that he didn’t pack for."
The clip, which has now garnered millions of views, has not gone down well with internet users with many describing him as a "manchild" and his behaviour as "spoiled". "Hope she's in the process of realizing that she deserves better," one user wrote, while another said, "I actually can’t even fathom her being okay with his."
A section of users called him "entitled" and a "10-year-old kid". They hit back at him for being raised the way he was in a privileged set-up. Some also jumped to support him saying that he might have a "shopping addiction".
Jake Bongiovi, 24 and Millie Bobby Brown, 22, got married in May 2024 and announced that they had adoped a girl child that year.
On the work front, Millie, who was last seen in the final season of Stranger Things, is awaiting the release of Enola Holmes 3. Apart from Millie Bobby Brown as the titular character and Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury, Henry Cavill is back as Sherlock Holmes. Himesh Patel, who made an appearance at the end of Enola Holmes 2, will be seen in a longer arc as Dr Watson in the upcoming film. Also returning are Helena Bonham Carter and Sharon Duncan-Brewster. While the former plays Eudoria Holmes, mother of the Holmes family, the latter plays the main antagonist in the second film.
