The makers of the Tom Cruise headliner, Digger, have released the final trailer for the upcoming film. Written and directed by Alejandro G Inarritu, Digger is set to release on October 2.
The final trailer offers more insight into the film, where Tom Cruise as Digger Rockwell is an oil baron, whose rig in the South Pole causes a disaster so large that it causes Tsunamis. Digger is also shown to face the ire of people include Riz Ahmed's character, a scientist who goes against Digger and has to face the consequences of his actions.
Inarritu has written the story, and screenplay along with Alexander Dinelaris and Nicolás Giacobone, and Sabina Berman. He describes the film as a disaster film where the disaster is humans.
The cast of Digger also includes Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Oscar nominee Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons, Robert John Burke, Emma D’Arcy, Burn Gorman and Sophie Wilde.
