Actor Benjamin Bratt is the latest actor to join the cast of Amazon MGM's upcoming thriller film Ally Clark where he will star alongside Viola Davis and Jason Clark.
Described as a high-stakes investigative thriller, Ally Clark follows its titular character, played by Davis, as she navigates a treacherous trail stretching from the polished corridors of Washington, D.C., to the murky bayous of Louisiana and the frozen frontiers of Alaska. The plot centres on Clark’s investigation into a powerful international conglomerate in the wake of a close friend’s suspicious death. Details about the characters have been kept under wraps.
The film will be helmed by veteran director Phillip Noyce, whose credits include Salt, Clear and Present Danger, and The Quiet American. The script is penned by Jose Ruisanchez and Irwin Winkler, the Oscar-winning producer behind Rocky.
It is produced by Winkler Films' Irwin Winkler, Charles Winkler, David Winkler, Ruisanchez, JuVee Productions' Davis and Julius Tennon. JuVee's Melanie Clark is executive producing the film alongside Ian Watermeier.
Bratt is known for featuring in 90's series Law & Order and films such as Miss Congeniality, Traffic, and Blood In Blood Out, among others.
