Four years after the release of The Batman, development on the upcoming sequel is ramping up, with director Matt Reeves sharing a few stills from the camera tests. Robert Pattinson will return as the titular character in the upcoming sequel.

The photos shared by the director, shows the Batmobile, speeding through the streets of Gotham, through snowfall. While the director captioned the post, with, "Snow Tires." This has lead to speculations that the upcoming sequel will feature Victor Fries/Mr Freeze as the main antagonist.

While an earlier version of the character was created by Dave Wood, Sheldon Moldoff and Bob Kane, the Mr Freeze version of the character was created in 1996 for Batman: The Animated Series. Victor Fries is a scientist who turns to a life of crime in order to find a cure for his wife, Nora. Afflicted with a terminal illness, Nora is cryogenically frozen by Victor, in his journey to find a cure.

While the full details for the cast hasn't been released, actors like Scarlett Johannson, Charles Dance, and Sebastian Stan, being rumoured for various roles in the films.
