Ryan Reynolds has dropped hints as to what a fourth Deadpool film could look like. In a recent Sunday Today conversation, Reynolds was asked if he had been thinking about Deadpool, and he replied, saying, “I have some stuff kind of written.”
However, he suggested a change in direction for the franchise, stating he does not think Deadpool would be the central focus next time. Instead, the actor sees Deadpool as a supporting character, noting that he is "a guy that's great in a group". Reynolds last played the role in Deadpool and Wolverine.
While a fourth film has not been officially announced, fans are speculating about Ryan Reynolds' role in the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday, even though he has played down such speculation. In late 2025, the actor said that he has not even been on the set of the film.
