
Netflix has released the trailer for Kathryn Bigelow's A House of Dynamite recently. The thriller, which premiered at the 82nd Venice Film Festival, is premiering on the streamer on October 24.
Bigelow is the first ever female winner of the Oscar for Best Direction, for The Hurt Locker (2008). She directs the film from a script by Noah Oppenheim. Volker Bertelmann, who won the Oscar for Best Original Score for Netflix's All Quiet on the Western Front, is composing music of A House of Dynamite. Bigelow and Oppenheim are producing the film alongside Greg Shapiro, with Brian Bell and Sarah Bremner serving as executive producers.
Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson lead the cast of A House of Dynamite, which includes Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Tracy Letts, Anthony Ramos, Jonah Hauer-King, Moses Ingram, Greta Lee, Jason Clarke, Malachi Beasley, Brian Tee, Brittany O'Grady, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Willa Fitzgerald, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Kyle Allen, and Kaitlyn Dever.
The story of the film is centred around the launch of an Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile over the Pacific Ocean, when the USA's Defense Department has to tackle the crisis, caused by it.
