The world of Call My Agent is set to return with some Hollywood sparkle. Eva Longoria is reportedly in discussions to make a cameo appearance in Netflix’s upcoming film adaptation of the acclaimed French comedy-drama, joining George Clooney, who recently confirmed his own involvement.

The movie, produced by Mediawan through Mon Voisin Productions and Mother Production, will see the original cast of the International Emmy-winning series reunite on screen. Camille Cottin reprises her role as the sharp and spirited talent agent Andréa Martel, alongside Laure Calamy, Grégory Montel, Thibault de Montalembert, Nicolas Maury, Fanny Sidney, Liliane Rovère, Ophélia Kolb and Anne Marivin.

Written by the show’s creator and showrunner Fanny Herrero, the film picks up five years after the series finale. The story follows Andréa, who has left behind the chaotic world of talent management to reinvent herself as a filmmaker. But true to her nature, trouble isn’t far away. When her leading actor quits just before production begins, she is forced to reunite her old A.S.K. team, reigniting familiar friendships and rivalries.

While Netflix confirmed Clooney’s participation, alongside French stars Laetitia Casta (Consent), Vincent Macaigne (Irma Vep) and Laurent Lafitte (The Count of Monte Cristo), the streamer has yet to comment on Longoria’s potential casting.

The original Call My Agent! (Dix pour cent) became a global success when it premiered in 2015, earning widespread acclaim for its mix of sharp wit, celebrity cameos and heartfelt storytelling. It ran for four seasons, ending in 2020 with Andréa walking away from the industry and mourning the loss of her beloved agency.

The series also served as a launchpad for many of its stars. Camille Cottin went on to collaborate with international filmmakers such as Ridley Scott (House of Gucci), Michael Mann (Allied), Tom McCarthy (Stillwater) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Killing Eve). Co-star Laure Calamy has also enjoyed critical acclaim, winning a César Award for Antoinette dans les Cévennes and earning multiple Best Actress nominations in subsequent years.

Since its debut, Call My Agent! has inspired a wave of local remakes around the world, including versions in the U.K., Italy, Spain, Germany, South Korea, and several other countries, further cementing its status as a cultural touchstone. France Télévisions, which originally developed and commissioned the show before Netflix came aboard, is also collaborating on the feature film, tentatively titled Call My Agent (The Movie).
