Thanksgiving is here, and James Gunn's Superman is set to come flying into JioHotstar in a few days. On the occasion, Gunn took to X to post a photograph of a massive helium balloon with the shape of the iconic superhero from the 1940 parade outside Macy's Herald Square. "First Superman float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, 1940," Gunn wrote as the caption for the X post.

The filmmaker also expressed his gratitude to the audience for their support to his studio that produced the superhero venture, starring David Corenswet in the titular role. "Today I'm grateful for all the fans out there who have supported all of us at DC Studios over the past three years! This job is fun in and of itself, telling new stories with some of the world's most iconic characters - but you make it all the better with your love, support, laughter and insights. Thank you!!" wrote the filmmaker, who heads the aforesaid production company alongside Peter Safran.
