Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery has been described as Benoit Blanc's (Daniel Craig) most dangerous case yet. Ahead of Netflix's live event, Tudum, the streamer has released a couple of teasers on X (formerly Twitter) for the detective's next case.

Daniel Craig will return as Benoit Blanc in a new mystery, for which the setting and the story have not been officially revealed yet. But from the first look and the new teasers, it can be observed that the story will centre on a church.

The title of the film is from the U2 song from their album Pop, which was released in 1997. Director Rian Johnson told Netflix, "Pop is a very underrated album, and that song is very right for the title. But I’ve had ‘Wake Up Dead Man’ in my head for a long while, and I first heard the phrase in American folk music.”

The rest of the cast of the film includes Josh O'Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.

Wake Up Dead Man is produced by Johnson and Ram Bergman under the T-Street banner and is set to release on Netflix in 2025.
