After Glenn Close and Kerry Washington, two new actors have joined the cast of Knives Out 3. In his first film after the snowplow accident, Jeremy Renner is joining the star-studded ensemble along with Mila Kunis.
Currently, the acting team in Knives Out 3 has Daniel Craig returning as detective Benoit Blanc, Josh O’Connor, Mila Kunis, Kerry Washington, Jeremy Renner, Glen Close, Cailee Spaeny and Andrew Scott.
Rian Johnson, who helmed the first two films, namely Knives Out and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, is returning to write and direct the third film titled Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. He is also set to produce the film with his partner, Ram Bergman under the T-Street Pictures banner.
Plot details for the upcoming film is yet to be revealed, but Johnson and Craig have teased that it is Blanc’s “most dangerous case yet.” The film is set to begin production soon.
Wake Up Dead Man will mark a second collaboration between Craig and Scott, who have previously worked together in the James Bond film Spectre (2015).
This project marks Jeremy Renner's first feature film project he signed on to after his recovery from a near-fatal snowplow accident in early 2023. Known for playing Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor filmed Mayor of Kingstown a year after the accident, with new episodes for the Paramount+ drama series launching next month.
Mila Kunis is best known for her portrayal of Lily in Black Swan and the Bad Moms franchise. She was recently seen starring and producing the adaptation of Luckiest Girl Alive.
