The other day, Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram Stories to express her admiration for F1 star Brad Pitt. She wrote, "Brad Pitt. That's it, that's the post." This has sparked speculation among fans that Deepika is quite impressed with Pitt's performance in the Formula One-based film, which hit theatres on June 27, Friday. In 2016, there was speculation about Deepika potentially signing a film alongside Brad Pitt, but it did not materialise.
Deepika's upcoming projects include King, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She is set to reunite with her Jawan director Atlee on a project, starring Allu Arjun in the lead. The actor recently made headlines as she reportedly quit Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit, starring Prabhas.
On the other hand, F1 stars Pitt as a former Formula One racer who makes a comeback to mentor and pair up with a rookie driver (Damson Idris). The film from director Joseph Kosinski also stars Javier Bardem and Kerry Condon, among others, including real-life Formula One drivers such as Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, and Fernando Alonso. According to reports, F1 has minted over $140 million over its opening weekend.
