The mystery deepens in A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, as the hit drama unveils a fresh wave of cast members and offers fans a first glimpse at Emma Myers reprising her role as Pip Fitz-Amobi.
Following the breakout success of season one, the BBC, Netflix, and ZDFneo have confirmed a host of new additions for the second chapter, which continues to draw from Holly Jackson’s best-selling young adult novels.
Among the newcomers, Misia Butler (KAOS) will step into the role of Stanley Forbes; Eden Hambelton Davies (Tell Me Everything) joins as Jamie Reynolds, brother of Connor, played by returning star Jude Morgan-Collie; and Jack Rowan (Noughts and Crosses) appears as Charlie Green, Pip’s enigmatic new neighbour who becomes entangled in the unfolding mystery.
They’ll be joined by Anna Brindle (The Outs), Peter Sullivan (Around the World in 80 Days), Freddie Thorp (Fate: The Winx Saga), Lu Corfield (The Crow Girl), Stephanie Street (Breathtaking), and Freddie England, all playing key roles in the next chapter of the twisted tale set in the town of Kilton.
Returning alongside Myers are season one favourites Zain Iqbal (Death, Whatever!), Henry Ashton (My Lady Jane), Asha Banks (My Fault: London), Yali Topol Margalith (The Tattooist of Auschwitz), and Morgan-Collie.
Season two picks up in the aftermath of Pip’s explosive investigation into the Andie Bell case. But despite her success, the consequences of her sleuthing still haunt her. “Pip is determined to fix the fallout,” the synopsis reads, “and stay away from any more investigations.” That resolve is tested when Connor’s brother Jamie suddenly vanishes just as Max Hastings’ trial approaches. Forced back into the world of clues, suspects, and secrets, Pip finds herself racing against time and confronting uncomfortable questions about justice. As the mystery unfolds, Pip’s moral compass is tested, pushing her even further from the rule-following “good girl” she once was.
A premiere date for season 2 is yet to be announced.
