Based on James Patterson’s hugely popular Alex Cross novels, the series is created and led by Ben Watkins, who serves as creator, writer, executive producer and showrunner. The story follows Cross, a sharp homicide detective and forensic psychologist whose ability to understand the minds of killers sets him apart. In Season 2, the stakes are raised as Cross tracks a dangerous vigilante targeting corrupt billionaire elites.

Along with Hodge, the new season introduces Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason and Wes Chatham to the ensemble. They join returning cast members Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd and Johnny Ray Gill.
