
Noah Jupe has joined the survival thriller Play Dead, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, reports Deadline. While the plot of the film and the details of Jupe's character are not revealed, the film is described as a cross between Don't Breathe and 1917.
Jupe has starred in Ford v Ferrari, Honey Boy, No Sudden Move, A Quiet Place, and A Quiet Place II. He has also starred in the miniseries Franklin and Lady in the Lake.
Collet-Serra is known for directing films like Orphan, Disney's Jungle Cruise, and DC's Black Adam, with The Woman in The Yard being his latest release. He is attached to direct a reboot of Cliffhanger (1993) and Netflix's An Innocent Girl.
Play Dead's script is written by Peter Stanley-Ward and Natalie Conway. Sam Riami, Akiva Nemetsky, Rob Tapert, JD Lifshitz, Keaton Heinrichs, Raphael Margules, and Dane Eckerle are producing the film. Scott Greenberg and Jazmyn Tanski are serving as executive producers on the film. Bad Grey, BoulderLight Pictures, Ghost House Pictures, and Nocturnal are backing Play Dead.
Production on Jaume Collet-Serra's Play Dead is set to begin in Melbourne, Australia, in May.
