
After his last appearance in the horror film Nosferatu, actor Bill Skargard is set to join Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer in The Death of Robin Hood.
The actor, who left a mark as Pennywise the Clown in It and It: Chapter Two, will join the film along with Murray Bartlett of The White Lotus fame and Noah Jupe of A Quite Place fame.
Apart from the Emmy-winning performance in The White Lotus, Bartlett is also known for his roles in The Last Of Us and Welcome to Chippendales. In addition to The Death of Robin Hood, Bartlett also has Opus and will be seen opposite Amy Adams in At The Sea. Jupe, meanwhile, managed to create ripples with the TV series The Night Manager, A Quiet Place and Honey Boy. It is not yet official what roles are assigned to the trio.
Written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, The Death of Robin Hood has Jackman plays the titular character struggling with his unenviable past mired in crime and murder, who gets hurt badly at the hands of an enigmatic woman who holds a chance for his redemption.
With Lyrical Media backing the film, Ryder Picture company banner's Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett will produce the film. The two will be joined by Jackman and Lyrical Media's Alexander Black, with Sarnoski, Jon Rosenberg, Rama Gottumukkala and Natalie Sellers serving as the executive producers.
