
Marvel released a trailer for Fantastic Four: First Steps online recently. The trailer shows a first look at the Silver Surfer, the herald for Galactus, devourer of worlds.
The film is set in a retrofuturistic world which is threatened by the arrival of a cataclysmic ending threat, which forces the Fantastic Four to unite against the threat.
Marvel's first family includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing. In the film, Julia Garner stars as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer with Ralph Ineson as Galactus. Other cast members include Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, Sarah Niles, and Mark Gatiss.
WandaVision director Matt Shakman is directing the film. Kevin Feige is producing the film with Mitch Bell as a co-producer. Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis, and Tim Lewis serve as executive producers for the film.
Matt Shakman's Fantastic Four: First Steps, from Marvel, is set to release theatrically on July 25.
