The Fantastic Four: First Steps Teaser: To save planet Earth and family bond

The teaser video for Marvel Studios' much anticipated film The Fantastic Four: First Steps was launched by the makers on Tuesday.

The glimpse shows the bond shared by the family before and after it attains the superpower. Despite being taken aback by the discovery, the family decides to stick together and face everything. The namely Fantastic Four gear up to counter the force that is threatening the planet Earth.

As Marvel boss Kevin Feige already opened up, since the origin story and the basics about the four superheroes are already known, they will be introduced in the film as established superheroes.

Directed by Matt Shakman, the film is based on a script by Josh Friedman, Eric Pearson, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer. The star-studded cast includes Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

Based on Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's comic book of 1961, the story has been made as a two-part film in 2005-2007 starring Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, Julian McMahon and Kerry Washington, and an unsuccessful reboot in 2015 starring Miles Teller, Michael B Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, Toby Kebbell, Reg E Cathey and Tim Blake Nelson.

According to the official synopsis, the film, set in a vibrant, retro-futuristic place, follows Marvel’s First Family as they confront their most formidable threat yet: a cosmic entity named Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his mysterious Herald, Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). As the Fantastic Four grapple with their newfound powers and familial bonds, they must unite to protect Earth from Galactus’s destructive intentions.
