Chiyaan Vikram's Kadaram Kondan trailer is here

The trailer of the highly anticipated Kadaram Kondan is here. Produced by Raaj Kamal Films in association with Ravindran of Trident Arts, and directed by Rajesh M Selva, the film’s first look sparked much buzz online, thanks to Vikram’s unconventional look. The film also stars Akshara Haasan and Nasser’s son Abi Hassan, and the trailer reveals that Vikram plays a commando double agent. 

The trailer kicks off with a pregnant Akshara Haasan sharing a heartwarming moment with Abi Hassan, who plays her on-screen husband. The scene then shifts to a house invasion, where Vasu (Abi Hassan's character) is abducted by Vikram, who is addressed as KK. Some intense action sequences set in Malaysia follow. Vikram is then revealed to be a mercenary and a former paramilitary commando of Indian descent. What has he to do with Vasu, and why he unleashes violence all over Malaysia likely constitute the rest of the story.

With music by Ghibran, editing by Praveen KL, and cinematography by Srinivas R Gutha, Kadaram Kondan is slated for release on July 19. Interestingly, this film will also feature songs sung by Vikram and Shruti Haasan.

Meanwhile, Vikram has the multilingual Mahavir Karna, and Ajay Gnanamuthu’s next project, which is being referred to as Vikram 58, in the pipeline. He also has GVM's long-delayed Dhruva Natchathiram yet to be completed.
