Raju Yadav trailer out: Getup Srinu rises above adversity and atrophy in his debut film as a male lead

The official trailer of the Getup Srinu starrer Raju Yadav has been unveiled on Sunday by actor Teja Sajja. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on May 17. Raju Yadav marks Getup Srinu’s debut as a lead hero. The actor, who shot to fame with his work in Jabardasth, was recently seen in Hanu Man. 

Raju Yadav marks the directorial debut of Krishnamachary. The film is produced by K Prashant Reddy and Rajesh Kallepalli under the banners Sai Varunavi Creations and Charisma Dreams Entertainment.

The trailer opens with the titular character fielding on the cricket ground. Following an injury where he gets hit by a ball, his facial muscles stop moving. Soon enough, he gets into trouble for his ever smiley face. When doctors suggest a surgery to fix his face, he goes to Hyderabad to raise money for the same. What happens after that forms the crux of the story. The film’s story is based on true incidents.

Raju Yadav also stars Ankita Kharat, Ananda Chakrapani, Rocket Raghava, Mirchi Hemanth, Jabardasth Sunny, Santosh Kalwacherla, Sriram, Kalyan Bhushan, Sree Mani, Pawon Ramesh and Uthara Prashanth. Harshvardhan Rameshwar is the music composer of the film, with cinematography by Sai Ram Uday, editing by Bonthala Nageswara Reddy and production design by Sri Nagendra Tangala.
