The official trailer of Gandheevadhari Arjuna, an upcoming spy thriller starring Varun Tej, has been unveiled on Thursday evening. The film also stars Sakshi Vaidya in the female lead with Nassar and Vinay Rai essaying supporting roles. The trailer shows that the film spans across Europe and shows a good vs evil battle against the backdrop of Biological terrorism. The film will be hitting theatres on August 25.
Gandheevadhari Arjuna is written and directed by Praveen Sattaru, who last directed The Ghost, an action thriller starring Nagarjuna, Sonal Chauhan and Anikha Surendran. Sakshi Vaidya, who made her debut earlier this year opposite Akhil Akkineni in Agent, will be making her sophomoric appearance in Gandheevadhari Arjuna. It may be noted that both Agent and Gandheevadhari Arjuna belong to the same genre. Sakshi played a civilian in the former and an intelligence agent in the latter. Varun Tej was last seen in F3, a family comedy, and Ghani, a sports drama.
BVSN Prasad has produced Gandheevadhari Arjuna under his banner Sree Venkateshwara Cine Chitra. Mukesh is the cinematographer of the film with music by Mickey Meyer. The streaming rights of Gandheevadhari Arjuna have been bagged by Netflix.
