Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil is playing the lead role in the upcoming Telugu film Don’t Trouble the Trouble. Sashank Eleti is directing the film, while Shobhu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni and SS Karthikeya are jointly producing it under their Arka Media Works and Showing Business banners. The makers have been promoting the film aggressively, with the team travelling to places including Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
SS Rajamouli and Suriya attended the Tamil Nadu promotions as chief guests, while Jr NTR will be the chief guest at the Telugu pre-release event. The event will be held at a convention centre in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The team also visited the Bigg Boss Telugu house and promoted the film with host Nagarjuna. Fahadh Faasil, Sara and Karthikeya participated in the Bigg Boss Telugu episode.
After the Pushpa franchise, this is Fahadh Faasil’s first film as a lead actor in Telugu. The film is slated to hit the screens on October 2 in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and other languages.
Interestingly, Jr NTR’s uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna lent his voice to the film’s trailer, delivering the popular dialogue “Don’t Trouble the Trouble.” Now, his nephew Jr NTR is attending the pre-release event as the chief guest.
Another interesting aspect is that SS Rajamouli, who is currently busy with his upcoming film Varanasi, has also taken time to participate in the promotions of Don’t Trouble the Trouble.
With Jr NTR attending the pre-release event, the makers are looking to generate further buzz for the film in the Telugu market. Fahadh Faasil already has a strong following among Telugu audiences, and the presence of Jr NTR at the event is expected to add to the promotional momentum ahead of the October 2 release.
