Actor Nikhil Siddhartha is gearing up to showcase a larger-than-life historical world in his upcoming period action drama Swayambhu. Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari and produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios, as well as presented by Tagore Madhu, the multi-language Pan-Indian film has achieved major production milestones as it prepares for a grand release.
The makers revealed that the film wrapped a massive 175-day shooting schedule and features over 2,500 VFX shots, highlighting the scale and technical ambition behind the project. A newly released behind-the-scenes image captures Nikhil in an intense warrior avatar preparing for an action scene. Emphasising his team's focus on visual grandeur, Nikhil shared a confident message: "Good things take time. We r almost there... I never expected to shoot for 175 days and 2500 graphics shots for a single film. But... Raccha Lepadaniki Ready .. Release Date announcement coming."
With production nearing completion, an official release date announcement and theatrical trailer will arrive soon to kick off the film's promotional campaign. The film’s momentum is already building, backed by a strong response to the teaser and the heroic track 'Ra Ra Dheevara'. The makers are soon expected to make their promotional activities more intense than ever before.
The cast of Swayambhu also includes Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh, who play prominent characters along with Nikhil. On the technical front, the film has cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar, composer Ravi Basrur, editor Tammiraju, production designers M Prabhaharan and Raveendar, and stunt choreographers King Solomon and Stunt Silva. Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry is also part of the project.
With Bharat Krishnamachari as its writer and director, the film has dialogues by Vijay Kamisetty.
Last seen in 2024's Appudo Ippudo Eppudo, Nikhil Siddhartha's upcoming films also include the long-delayed The India House.
