Nani is gearing up for the release of his film The Paradise, which brings him back together with his Dasara (2023) director Srikanth Odela. On Monday, the film's makers dropped a new poster featuring Nani while confirming that it is on course to release on September 24, as previously scheduled. The confirmation has ended recent speculation about its postponement.
The poster shows Nani's character, Jadal, with a gun over his right shoulder against a background of flames and enveloping smoke. Featuring the text "Jadal Zaman Shuru," the poster prominently confirms September 24 as the release date. It has added to the excitement around the release of The Paradise, which has already been described as one of the most highly anticipated films of the year.
The recently released teaser establishes Nani's character Jadal as one born to a sex-worker. It is highly regarded as a one-of-a-kind avatar from the actor's career so far. "A fierce, raw and unhinged leader, he rises from an oppressed slum background with an intense presence," reads an official descriptor from a press note.
The Paradise also stars Kayadu Lohar in the female lead. The cast includes Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni, and Kill fame Raghav Juyal in his Telugu debut. Nani's Nenu Local and Dasara co-star Keerthy Suresh is also set to make a special appearance in the film.
The film's technical team includes composer Anirudh, cinematographer CH Sai, editor Navin Nooli, and production designer Avinash Kolla. It is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of SLV Cinemas. The makers of the film also plan to release it theatrically with dubs in Hindi, Tamil, English, Spanish, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam. In line with its international ambitions, they have approached actor Ryan Reynolds of Deadpool fame to serve as its presenter in international markets.
