Ravi Teja is back with a bang with his latest film Irumudi, which has become a huge success for him. Now, his nephew Madhav is also ready to make his debut with Maremma. The trailer of the film was unveiled recently and looks promising and intense, especially for a debutant like Madhav. Manchala Nagaraj is also making his directorial debut with this film. Mayur Reddy Bandaru is producing it under his Moksha Arts banner, while Deepa is playing the female lead opposite Madhav.

Like many other filmmakers, director Manchala Nagaraj has chosen a rural Telangana backdrop for his story, but he has added village festivals and a divine touch to the narrative. The story revolves around a male buffalo named Maari, which is very close to the protagonist. He takes care of Maari, while some buffaloes mysteriously die in the village, leaving the villagers scared.
Despite their devotion to the village deity, strange incidents continue to happen in the village. The focus then turns towards Maari, what happened to the buffalo and how the protagonist protects it. The trailer is intense and has a rooted Telangana rural backdrop. As a debutant, Madhav looks solid, and the role gives him plenty of scope to perform. This certainly looks like a promising launch for him.
Madhav fits convincingly into the role of a rural boy, and his body language is also impressive. Deepa Balu is the female lead opposite Madhav, while yesteryear lead actor Vinod Kumar is playing a key role in the film.
Director Nagaraj has chosen to tell a rooted rural story and present it through content rather than relying heavily on commercial ingredients. Cinematography by Prasanth Ankireddy adds to the intensity of the drama, with his visuals capturing the village backdrop and its rawness effectively.
