Ram Charan and his team are actively promoting their upcoming Telugu film Peddi across different parts of India. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. A few days ago, the team visited Bhopal for a grand promotional event where music maestro AR Rahman delivered a live performance and performed songs from the film.
The promotions have now moved to Bengaluru, where Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar attended the event. Shivarajkumar is playing a crucial role in Peddi, and his appearance in the recently released trailer created significant excitement among fans.
Addressing the gathering, Ram Charan greeted the Kannada audience and thanked fans for their continued support. “I feel fortunate to receive so much love while doing the work I love and know best. After nearly two and a half years, I am coming before you once again with Peddi. All of us have worked on this film with complete honesty and dedication. Mark my words, Peddi is going to be one of the best films,” said Ram Charan.
The actor also spoke highly about Shivarajkumar and expressed his admiration for the Kannada star. “Shivanna is like a father, an uncle, and a brother to me. He is a legend of Indian cinema and the emperor of Kannada cinema. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work with such a great actor,” he said.
Ram Charan further stated that he was delighted to have A R Rahman compose music for the film. He also praised Janhvi Kapoor for her sincere efforts and dedication towards the project.
Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru is making his debut in Tollywood with this big-budget entertainer. Speaking about him, Ram Charan said, “He made this film wholeheartedly.”
The actor credited director Buchi Babu Sana for shaping the project and said the film would not have existed without him. He also thanked Jagapathi Babu and cinematographer R Rathnavelu for their contribution to the film.
Concluding his speech, Ram Charan extended special thanks to Sukumar. “Special thanks to Sukumar garu, who is one of the main reasons this film happened. Peddi is the most inspiring film I have done in my life. I hope all of you will definitely watch this film in theatres on June 4,” he said.
