Niharika Konidela is currently in the spotlight as she recently announced her upcoming production, Bhari, starring her brother Varun Tej as the lead. Meanwhile, her next production, Rakasa, is gearing up for release on April 3. The film is directed by Manasa Sharma, and stars Sangeeth Soban and Nayan Sarika as the leads.

At the film’s pre-release event, Niharika spoke about Rakasa and her desire to continue backing good films. She said that her collaboration with Zee Studios for Rakasa gave her immense joy.

“Earlier, we produced the YouTube series Mad House, and it was during that time that I first came across Manasa Sharma’s writing. Later, I met her in person. She is someone who speaks very little, yet is always deeply immersed in thought,” said Niharika about director Manasa Sharma.

Niharika added that Manasa lives and breathes cinema. “I strongly believe that Manasa is destined for greater heights. I take great pride in introducing talents like Manasa, Mahesh and Yadhu Vamsee. When we were making Committee Kurrollu, many people questioned why we were working with 11 to 15 newcomers. During Rakasa, people asked why we were attempting something different instead of choosing a safer path. Now, with Bhari, they are asking why we are working with family members. People will always have something to say, but I will continue doing what I love,” she said.

The actor-turned-producer said she has learned something from every project she has worked on. Niharika also had warm words to say about her strong technical team.

“To me, the Konidela family and the Pink Elephant family are equally important. I am grateful to my parents for trusting me and giving me the freedom to follow my passion. Mayam Ramesh garu has supported me from the very beginning. Anudeep Dev garu is an exceptionally talented musician. Raju garu’s visuals are always appreciated. Watching Vijay Master on set feels like seeing my own father. Anwar Ali garu goes far beyond his role as an editor and takes on many responsibilities,” said Niharika, adding that it is through her father that she met many wonderful people. “One of them is Getup Srinu, who takes great care of me."

Talking about the actors in the film, Niharika said, "Sangeeth is a rising star, and he deserves a major share of the credit for the success of Rakasa. Nayan Sarika is truly special and a wonderful person." She also expressed her belief that her team has delivered a quality entertainer. "My dream is that everyone assicated with my banner Pink Elephant should one day own a house, a car, and enjoy life with their families," signed off Niharika, assuring that the film, which will hit the screens on April 3, will be a complete entertainer.
