Producer Niharika Konidela has kickstarted the musical promotions of the upcoming film Rākāsā by releasing the first single titled ‘Rapappa’. The lively and unconventional track blends heartbreak with humour, offering a fresh musical experience for listeners.
The song is sung by Ram Miriyala, composed by Anudeep Dev, and written by lyricist Raghuram. Presented as a lyrical video, 'Rapappa' instantly grabs attention with its playful tone and energetic structure, giving audiences a glimpse into the film’s musical flavour while adding to the anticipation surrounding the movie.
What makes 'Rapappa' stand out is its witty lyrical style and rhythmic wordplay. Instead of presenting heartbreak in a purely emotional manner, the lyricist turns it into a humorous and relatable narrative. Ram Miriyala’s distinctive voice perfectly enhances this mood, bringing a mix of frustration, sarcasm, and charm to the performance.
The choreography for the song has been designed by JD Master, adding another dynamic element to the musical presentation. Earlier, the film’s title glimpse and teaser had already generated strong engagement on social media.
Sangeeth Sobhan, who recently scored back-to-back hits with MAD and MAD Square, plays the lead role in the film, with Nayan Sarika as the female lead. The film is written and directed by Manasa Sharma, who earlier worked as the writer and creator of the web series Oka Chinna Family Story and directed Bench Life.
Rākāsā is produced by Niharika Konidela under the banner of Pink Elephant Pictures and presented by ZEE Studios, with Umesh Kumar Bansal serving as the producer.
The film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Raju Edurolu and editor Anwar Ali. Rākāsā is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 3, 2026.
