Just days after the wedding celebrations of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in Udaipur, the spotlight has now turned to Hyderabad for another Tollywood wedding. Allu Sirish, son of producer Allu Aravind and brother of Allu Arjun, is set to marry Nayanika Reddy on March 6.
The pre-wedding festivities began on Sunday with the sacred Pelli Koduku ceremony, held in an intimate and traditional setting at the Allu family residence in Hyderabad.
Marking the official start of the wedding week, the ceremony commenced with the auspicious mangala snanam. In this ritual, the groom is ceremonially bathed and anointed with turmeric and sandalwood paste, symbolizing purification, blessings, and his transition into married life. The ritual holds deep cultural significance in Telugu weddings and is considered an important step before the wedding day.
Following the sacred bath, the celebration continued with a warm gathering of close family members and friends. Women from the extended family circle blessed the groom, presented gifts, and conveyed their heartfelt wishes. The atmosphere was joyous yet intimate, reflecting the family’s strong cultural values and traditions.
The ceremony was attended by key members of the Allu family, including producer Allu Aravind, Allu Arjun and his wife Sneha Reddy. Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela were also present to bless the groom. Among other notable attendees were Vasundhara, wife of Nandamuri Balakrishna, along with close relatives and family friends. Adding to the festive spirit, newlyweds Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna made a warm appearance.
With the completion of the Pelli Koduku ritual and the blessings of family and well-wishers, the wedding celebrations have officially begun on a serene and auspicious note, setting the tone for the grand ceremony on March 6.
