The Tamil audience is quite familiar with Singeetham Srinivasa Rao's cinema. In the language, his directorial credits include but are not limited to Raja Paarvai (1981), Apoorva Sagodharargal (1989), Michael Madana Kama Rajan (1990), Magalir Mattum (1994), and Mumbai Xpress (2005). Kamal Haasan, one of the actors to star in many of his films, recently graced a promotional event and expressed his admiration for the filmmaker. The legendary actor said that he wished he had produced the film through his banner, Raaj Kamal Films International.

Coming back to Singeetham Srinivasa Rao's latest film, it has received mostly positive reviews from critics. In our review, Suresh Kavirayani wrote, "More than just an experimental film, Sing Geetham carries an important message. The beauty lies in how naturally the message is woven into the narrative without becoming preachy. This ability to blend entertainment and meaning is what keeps Singeetham's storytelling timeless... At an age when most people would choose retirement, he has delivered a film that feels innovative and relevant."
