Rumours surrounding Jr NTR have been doing the rounds over the past few days. A section of the media has been reporting that the actor is planning to launch a new political party and may make an announcement soon. At the same time, an organisation called RAW NTR has been conducting social service activities in the actor's name.
Putting an end to the speculation, Jr NTR's office released an official statement clarifying that the actor has no connection whatsoever with the organisation. The team also said that any official communication from the actor would only be made through his office or his verified social media platforms.
"It has come to our attention that an organisation operating under the name RAW NTR has been carrying out activities that may create an impression of being associated with Mr NTR. We would like to categorically clarify that Mr NTR and his office have absolutely no association, affiliation, or involvement whatsoever with RAW NTR or any of its activities," read the statement issued by Jr NTR's office.
The statement further clarified that the actor has not authorised any organisation to represent him. "The organisation is neither authorised to represent Mr NTR nor to communicate on his behalf in any capacity," it added.
The actor's team also stated that any charitable initiatives or public welfare programmes involving Jr NTR would always be announced through his official channels. "Any charitable initiative, public welfare activity, official communication, or association involving Mr NTR will be communicated only through Mr NTR or his official team. Any information or activity circulated through unauthorised individuals or organisations should not be treated as authentic," the statement said.
The team expressed hope that the clarification would put an end to all rumours and speculation surrounding the issue.
"This shall be our final communication on this subject. We sincerely hope this clarification puts an end to all ongoing rumours and speculation. We also request members of the traditional media, social media platforms and fans to refrain from giving credence to unverified information or rumours relating to this matter. We appreciate your understanding and continued support," the statement concluded.
On the professional front, Jr NTR is currently working with director Prashanth Neel on Dragon, which is slated for release in June next year. The teaser of the film was unveiled in May on the occasion of the actor's birthday. He has also announced his next project with director Trivikram Srinivas. The film is said to be a mythological drama based on the story of Lord Subramanya Swamy.
