Earlier, we reported about actor Allu Arjun praising Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar in an effusive review. Back then, the Pushpa star called it "a brilliantly made film filled with fine performances," and made special note of the cast and crew who worked on the movie. The actor also mentioned Sara Arjun, saying that she made a "sweet presence" in the film. Sara plays the Ranveer Singh character's love interest in the spy drama.
A while ago, Sara took to social media to express her gratitude to Allu Arjun for his positive appreciation of the film and her character in it. "Thank you so much Allu Arjun garu. Your generous words mean the world to our entire team. We poured our hearts into Dhurandhar and hearing this from an artist of your stature is truly special. Much love and respect," Sara wrote.
The actor also said that she is looking forward to watching the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo star's upcoming film with director Atlee, tentatively titled AA22xA6 and also known as AA22. "Waiting for AA22.. The blast that gives goosebumps," Sara wrote.
Sara Arjun's response to Allu Arjun's positive Dhurandhar movie review, dating back to December 12, appears strategically timed to coincide with the film's digital premiere. Earlier, before the film's release, there was much criticism about the actor's pairing with a much-older Ranveer Singh. However, the film has overcome all such skepticisms while earning mostly positive reviews from critics and more than 1300 crore at the global box office.
Sara's mention of AA22 also seems strategic, as she is set to make her Telugu debut with a film titled Euphoria. Directed by Gunasekhar, the film is billed as a youthful drama and is set to hit theatres next month.
