Starring Vamsi Tummala and Sandhya Vashisht in the lead roles, Sri Chidambaram Garu is all set for a theatrical release on February 6. The release date was officially announced at an event held in Hyderabad. The film is produced by Chinta Vinesh Reddy and Chinta Gopala Krishna Reddy and directed by Vinay Ratnam. Producer Vamsi Nandipati is releasing the film in theatres.

The teaser of the film, released recently, received an unexpectedly strong and overwhelming response. Earlier, the makers also released a melodious song titled 'Velle Daarilo', sung by legendary music director MM Keeravani. The song is composed by Chandu Ravi, with lyrics penned by Chandrashekhar. Both the tune and lyrics have deeply resonated with listeners, while Keeravani's soulful voice has added immense emotional depth to the composition.

Speaking at the event, female lead Sandhya said, “I play the role of Leela in this film, and the response to both the teaser and the songs has been very encouraging. This feel-good story carries a Malayalam cinema vibe. Chandu Ravi’s music has truly given life to the film, and Keeravani garu’s rendition of 'Velle Daarilo' has elevated the song beautifully. I believe this film will give us good recognition as artists.”

Lead actor Vamsi Tummala said, “With its music, our film has reached another level altogether. It’s a privilege to have Keeravani garu — who composed an Oscar-winning song — lend his voice to our film. This is also the first film that Vamsi Nandipati chose to release in 2026. Sri Chidambaram Garu is an emotionally rich cinematic journey.”

Director Vinay Ratnam expressed his gratitude, saying, “The main reason this film became a reality is our producer Gopala Krishna garu. Every song in this film touches the heart. I watched the film during the final mixing and couldn’t hold back my tears. We worked very hard on this project, and I sincerely hope the audience supports us.”
