Actor Havish has teamed up with director Thrinadha Rao Nakkina for the out-and-out entertainer Nenu Ready. Kavya Thapar plays the female lead opposite Havish in the film, which is produced by Nikhila Koneru under the Harniks India LLP banner. The makers unveiled the teaser on Monday. Notably, the teaser was earlier screened in theatres along with Prabhas’ The Raja Saab.
The teaser sets up a light-hearted and fun-filled premise. A responsible, middle-class Andhra youth working in a private company gets engaged to a middle-class Telangana girl, setting the stage for a humorous clash of cultures, traditions, and lifestyles.
Known for extracting comedy from everyday situations, Thrinadha Rao Nakkina once again showcases his forte. The humour arises organically from relatable conflicts, such as the bride’s family being hardcore non-vegetarians while the groom’s side follows strict vegetarian customs.
Havish slips effortlessly into the role of a sincere, middle-class breadwinner and impresses with his screen presence and comic timing. Kavya Thapar shines as the Nizam girl, adding glamour and charm to the narrative, and the chemistry between the lead pair works well. With seasoned comedy performers like Brahmanandam, Srilakshmi, Vennela Kishore, and VTV Ganesh on board, the film promises a steady dose of laughter.
Nizar Shafi’s cinematography captures the mood effectively, while Mickey J Meyer’s lively background score further elevates the comic moments. Nenu Ready is slated for a summer 2026 release.
