Sobhita Dhulipala’s next Telugu film, Cheekatilo is set for an OTT release on January 23. Directed by Sharan Koppishetty and produced by D Suresh Babu under the Suresh Productions banner, the suspense drama, on Prime Video.
Set in the heart of Hyderabad, Cheekatilo is an edge-of-the-seat crime suspense drama that follows Sandhya, a true-crime podcaster played by Sobhita Dhulipala. Her relentless pursuit of the truth leads her to uncover some of the city’s darkest and most brutal secrets. The gripping narrative is written by Chandra Pemmaraju along with the director, Sharan Koppishetty.
The film also stars Viswadev Rachakonda in the lead roles, with Chaitanya Visalakshmi, Esha Chawla, Jhansi, Aamani, and Vadlamani Srinivas playing pivotal characters.
Producer D Suresh Babu described the film as a layered and emotionally driven suspense drama. “What is close to my heart is how the film explores the courage to confront darkness and speak the truth — something society needs more of today. This movie also marks another milestone in our long-standing collaboration with Prime Video. Apart from Telugu, Cheekatilo will also be available in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, along with subtitles, from January 23.
