After a long gap, Samantha is returning to a full-fledged Telugu film with Maa Inti Bangaram. The film is directed by Nandini Reddy, marking her third collaboration with the actress after Jabardasth (2013) and Oh! Baby (2019). Raj Nidimoru has been credited as the creator, indicating his close involvement in the project. 

The makers have officially announced that the teaser of Maa Inti Bangaram will be released on January 9 at 10 am. With several big films hitting the screens during the Sankranthi season, the team plans to screen the teaser alongside these major releases, according to sources.

The film is being produced under Samantha’s home banner, Tralala Moving Pictures. This marks the second production from the banner after Subham.

Set in the 1980s, Maa Inti Bangaram is a period drama with a crime backdrop. The makers had earlier unveiled Samantha’s look from the film, in which she was seen holding a gun, drawing considerable attention. With the teaser announcement now made, the team is reportedly keen on completing the film at the earliest.

Apart from Samantha, Hindi actor Gulshan Devaiah plays a key role in the film.

Meanwhile, Samantha is also part of the upcoming web series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, produced by Raj & DK. The series features an ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jaideep Ahlawat.
