The wedding of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna is set to take place in Udaipur on February 26. As the big day approaches, guests have started reaching the venue. Vijay has already arrived in Udaipur along with a few close friends and family members.
Actor-director Tharun Bhascker, who worked with Vijay on Pelli Choopulu (2016), has reached Udaipur along with Eesha Rebba. Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who made his directorial debut with Arjun Reddy (2017), is also expected to attend the wedding along with a few other friends from the industry.
Designer Shravya Varma, who is very close to Rashmika, has also arrived in Udaipur. Director Rahul Ravindran, whose latest film The Girlfriend stars Rashmika, is attending the wedding as well. Ashika Ranganath, another close friend of Rashmika, has reached Udaipur for the celebrations.
Vijay’s family members are already in Udaipur. Not many from the film industry are attending the wedding ceremony, as the couple has planned a grand reception in Hyderabad on March 4 for members of the film fraternity, political leaders, and other dignitaries. Many political leaders are expected to attend the Hyderabad reception instead of the wedding in Udaipur.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika got engaged in October last year, though they did not make it official at the time. Just ahead of the wedding, the couple announced on social media that their wedding has been named “VIROSH.” They clarified that the name is not inspired by any wedding planner or family tradition, but by the love and creativity of their fans.
