Suhas is playing the lead in the upcoming film Hey Bhagawan, which is set to hit theatres on February 20. The film is directed by Gopi Atchara and produced by B Narendra Reddy. Distributors Vamsi Nandipati and Bunny Vasu have come on board after watching the film’s content.
Shivani Nagaram plays the female lead, while senior actor VK Naresh will be seen in a key role. Sai Durgha Tej attended the pre-release event as the chief guest, unveiled the trailer, and extended his support to the team, wishing them grand success.
Speaking on the occasion, Suhas recalled his early days and the support he received from Sai Durgha Tej. “Nearly ten years ago, when I was working with Chai Bisket, I met Teju anna to promote his film. Later, when I decided to become an actor, my parents were worried. I didn’t have any background in the industry, and they were concerned about my future,” said Suhas.
He added that Sai Durgha Tej stood by him during that time and encouraged him wholeheartedly. “He didn’t just support me personally — he sent a video message to my mother saying, ‘Suhas is a good person and he will become a good actor. We will be there for him, so please don’t worry.’ After watching that video, my mother felt very relieved and never worried about me again. That shows Teju anna’s heart. He is a wonderful human being and always supportive,” Suhas shared emotionally.
Sai Durgha Tej wished the entire team great success. “You all watched the teaser and trailer and had a good laugh. I request everyone to come to theatres, watch the film, and support this team,” he said.
Distributor and producer Bunny Vasu also praised Sai Durgha Tej for his encouraging nature. “Teju is one of the few actors who consistently supports both small and big films upon their release. If you check his social media, you’ll see how he especially encourages small films. He is a pure-hearted person and a great human being,” said Bunny Vasu.
