Actor Ravi Teja did not speak much during the promotions of Irumudi, but following the film’s success, he opened up about the film and his experience working on it. The actor praised the performances of several artistes, including Komaram, Bharagav and Kishore, who played supporting roles in the film. “They gave amazing performances and have done a superb job. They all have a bright future,” said Ravi Teja.

The actor specially praised art director Sai Suresh for making everything look natural in the film. “He is a very genuine person and speaks whatever he thinks in his mind,” said Ravi Teja. He also appreciated cinematographer Vishnu Sharma for his excellent work and action choreographer Sai Satish. “I wanted to work with Sai Satish in more films in the coming days,” said Ravi Teja.

According to Ravi Teja, GV Prakash Kumar’s music is the soul of Irumudi. “When you watch the film, the music automatically brings tears to the audience’s eyes. Even my daughter Moksha cried while watching the film,” he said.

The actor also shared his own emotional experience after watching the film. “On social media and in the media, people are talking about Irumudi and seeing the audience’s reaction brought tears to my eyes. It was also very emotional to see people who came to theatres 20 years ago returning to theatres to watch Irumudi. This happiness is something else. I have a heart of stone and I normally don’t cry. But after watching Irumudi, I cried for the first time. When director Shiva told me about the character Trinadh and the title Irumudi, I immediately felt that it was on another level,” said Ravi Teja.

Talking about his manager Srinivas, Ravi Teja said that he had immense confidence in the film from the beginning. “He kept saying that this film was going to be a superhit. His confidence has come true. Thanks to our director for making it so wonderful. He has a great personality and even after achieving such a big success, he remains normal and very grounded,” said Ravi Teja.

Ravi Teja also thanked producers Ravi and Naveen, saying that they are very good friends of his. “I cannot express in words how happy they are with the response the film is receiving, and I want to do many more films with them,” he said.

The actor revealed that his interest in rooted storytelling grew during the pandemic. “Generally, I watched a lot of films on OTT, and during the pandemic, I watched more Tamil and Malayalam films. Most of them had a very rooted feel. I used to feel that it would be great if we also made films like that. I am extremely happy seeing the response Irumudi is receiving,” said Ravi Teja.

He also praised female lead Priya Bhavani Shankar for her performance. “She gave an excellent performance. The two scenes she did in the second half helped tremendously in bringing out the emotion in the film,” he said. Ravi Teja also appreciated Baby Nakshatra’s performance. “Baby Nakshatra has also done an amazing job. She has a very bright future ahead of her,” he added.
