Actor Allari Naresh is returning to his strongest genre, comedy, with his latest film Ramba Oorvasi Menaka. Chandra Mohan Chintada is directing the film, while it is produced by Razesh Danda and Nimmakayala Prasad under the Hasya Movies and Annapurna Studios banners. The film is set to hit the screens on September 4, and the makers have now unveiled its trailer.
The trailer promises a complete entertainer with a fantasy backdrop, as Naresh returns to his trademark comic punches with a quirky mix of mythology, rural humour and whimsical fun. Nagarjuna unveiled the trailer and expressed his happiness about collaborating with Naresh once again under the Annapurna Studios banner.

Telugu cinema has explored stories featuring Lord Yama, Lord Indra and the three celestial beauties Ramba, Urvashi and Menaka several times in the past. In Ramba Oorvasi Menaka, director Chandra Mohan has once again brought these characters into the story. When Ramba, Urvashi and Menaka land on Bhoolokam, a series of unexpected challenges unfold. Suri, the protagonist played by Allari Naresh, remains determined to face everything that Lord Indra throws his way.
The trailer is packed with hilarious moments, and one hopes director Chandra Mohan has maintained the same energy, punch dialogues and comic situations throughout the film. Allari Naresh appears completely in his element, bringing the right mix of innocence and humour to his character.
Surabhi plays the female lead, while Vennela Kishore adds to the fun with his lively portrayal of Indra. Naresh VK is equally entertaining in a hilarious role and shares some of the funniest moments with Allari Naresh. Rashi Singh, Vishnupriya and Prisha Singh portray the three celestial beauties and look apt in their respective roles.
On the technical front, Raam Reddy is the cinematographer, while Brahma Kadali is the production designer. Chaitan Bharadwaj is composing the music, with Chota K Prasad handling the editing.
If the trailer is any indication, Ramba Oorvasi Menaka is shaping up to be a colourful and unconventional fantasy comedy, with Allari Naresh once again returning to the genre where his comic strengths are at their best. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 4.
