

This Friday marks Radikaa Sarathkumar's birthday. On the special occasion, the makers of her next film, Comrade Kalyan, with Sree Vishnu, shared a new poster featuring her character and interesting details about it. As the caption for the post, the makers wrote, "Wishing our legendary actress Radikaa Sarathkumar garu aka 'Saraswathamma' a very happy birthday. Get ready to witness her powerhouse performance as the 'Balayya Fans Association President' on big screens soon." In the poster, Radikaa's character can be seen with a headband featuring a piece of text that means, "Jai Balayya".
Directed by Janakiram Marella, Comrade Kalyan also stars Mahima Nambiar in the female lead, alongside Satya, Mukku Avinash, Upendra Limaye, and Shine Tom Chacko.
The film is presented by screenwriter Kona Venkat, as well as produced by Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati through the Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP banner.
On Thursday, the makers announced October 09 as the release date for the film, which is set along the Andhra-Odisha border and in the year 1992.
On the technical front, Comrade Kalyan has composer Vijay Bulganin, cinematographer Sai Sriram, and editor Chota K Prasad.
Radikaa Sarathkumar can be seen in the recently released film Vishwanath and Sons, directed by Venky Atluri and co-starring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju, among others. Director Venky Atluri also wished her on her birthday. Taking to his Instagram Stories space, Venky wrote, "Wishing our dearest Radhika Ma'am a very Happy Birthday! The most warm hearted person, with the sweetest soul and a little bit of that lovable rowdy energy. Always the youngest and coolest on set, you bring so much warmth, laughter and life wherever you go. Here's to many more beautiful years ahead ma'am."
Her upcoming projects include Hi, directed by Vishnu Edavan and starring Nayanthara and Kavin in the lead roles.
