The actor is now working with director Bobby Kolli for their upcoming film, tentatively titled Mega158. Produced by Venkat K Narayana under the KVN Productions banner, the film is progressing at a brisk pace. The makers have now announced that the title and a glimpse of the film will be unveiled on August 22, coinciding with Chiranjeevi’s birthday.
Before the shoot began, the makers announced that the film would arrive during Sankranthi 2027, and they are working at a fast pace to meet the planned release. The team has now completed 40 days of shooting, with the first half of the film also completed. The makers have revealed that the edited version of the first half has been locked.
This marks the second collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli after their successful film Waltair Veerayya. Their upcoming project is being mounted on a lavish scale, with Bobby Kolli working extensively to bring his vision to the screen. With Chiranjeevi’s support and the entire team working in sync, the film has made considerable progress in a short period.
The first half is said to be shaping up well, with the team reportedly confident about the output. The portions shot so far are said to have the right mix of intensity, entertainment, emotion and action. The interval fight sequence, which was recently shot, is expected to be one of the major highlights of the film. The action block has been designed on a grand scale and is expected to provide a powerful interval bang.
Meanwhile, the makers are gearing up for the big update on August 22. Fans are eagerly waiting to know the title and get a glimpse of the film. The project is currently planned as a Sankranthi 2027 release and is expected to be one of the major Telugu films arriving during the festive season.
Anaswara Rajan and Nivetha Pethuraj also play pivotal roles in the film. The technical team includes S Thaman as the music composer, Vijay Karthik Kannan as the cinematographer, Avinash Kolla as the production designer and Antony L Ruben as the editor. Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy have penned the screenplay, with additional writing by Hari Mohana Krishna and Vineeth Potluri. Bhanu-Nandu handles the dialogues.
