Tharun Bhascker plays the lead in the upcoming film Gayapadda Simham, which is set to hit the screens on May 1. JD Chakravarthy appears in another key role in this film, directed by debutant Kasyap Sreenivas, who is also acting in a pivotal role. Pavan Sadineni is presenting the project.
The makers are all set to release the trailer this evening at a multiplex. Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan will attend the event as the chief guest and unveil the trailer.
Interestingly, Pavan Sadineni, the presenter of Gayapadda Simham, is currently directing Dulquer Salmaan in his upcoming film Akasam Lo Oka Tara. As a gesture of support, Dulquer Salmaan has agreed to grace the event and launch the trailer.
Apart from Tharun Bhascker and JD Chakravarthy, the film features another important actor in a key role, whose identity is being kept under wraps by the makers.
Faria Abdullah and Manasa Chaudhary play the female leads. The film is set against the backdrop of Indians facing challenges while trying to travel to the USA, and also explores the struggles they encounter after reaching there.
Director Kasyap Sreenivas has said that the story is narrated in a humorous and entertaining manner. The makers have also used references to Trump as part of their promotional campaign, which has garnered attention.
The film is produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, and Umesh Kumar Bansal under the banners of Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories, and Zee Studios. The trailer will be unveiled shortly.
