The makers of Sasivadane unveiled the theatrical trailer on Monday, and it’s a love story dripping with Godavari charm

The trailer of Sasivadane begins with stillness, silence, and the lush ambience of the Godavari belt. Rakshit Atluri plays a spirited young villager who rows across the river each day to catch a glimpse of Komalee Prasad. Their sweet chemistry is set against an entrancing score, with Saravana Vasudevan on music and Anudeep Dev handling the background score. But the serenity doesn’t last long. Trouble lurks, and with it comes a defiant line from actor Sriman, “Once you decide to love, you have to fight for it no matter how many hurdles arrive.” The trailer then shifts gears, teasing fists, fire, and a battle that puts love to the ultimate test.

Shot in the postcard-perfect landscapes of Konaseema and Amalapuram, the visuals bring a rustic richness that complements the story’s emotional heft. The songs have already sparked curiosity online, and this trailer ups the stakes ahead of its worldwide release on October 10.

Written and directed by SaiMohan Ubbana, Sasivadane positions itself as more than a romance, it’s a story of resilience, sacrifice, and the storm that follows devotion. Rakshit Atluri, best remembered for Palasa 1978, looks set to dive deep into yet another rooted narrative, while Komalee Prasad brings warmth to a role that already seems tailor-made for her.

Sasivadane also features Sriman, Rangasthalam Mahesh, Jabardasth Bobby, Praveen Yandamuri, and Deepak Prince in key roles. Produced by Ahiteja Bellamkonda and Abhilash Reddy Godala under AG Film Company and SVS Studios, the film is presented by Gauri Naidu, who doubles as the costume designer. Cinematography is by Shrie Sai Kumaar Daara, editing by Garry BH, and production design is credited to JD.
