
Jr NTR sustained a minor injury while filming a commercial at Annapurna 7 Acres. The RRR star, who commands one of the biggest fan bases in Telugu cinema, is said to have slipped from a platform during a CMR ad shoot.
Word of the mishap quickly spread across social media, sparking concern among fans. However, the actor’s team was quick to calm nerves.
"Mr NTR sustained a minor injury today while shooting for an advertisement. On medical advice, he will be resting for the next couple of weeks. We would like to assure that his condition is stable and there is no cause for concern,” they conveyed to the media, without sharing further details.
For now, there’s no official word from NTR himself, and his team insists that the incident is more of a temporary setback than anything serious. Given the intensity of his action-packed roles and high-profile schedule, fans can rest assured that their favourite star is safe and well.
Meanwhile, NTR has a packed line-up ahead. He last shared the screen with Hrithik Roshan in War 2, directed by Ayan Mukherjee. The film, which released on August 15, is a follow-up in the YRF Spy Universe.
Beyond that, NTR is currently shooting for Prashanth Neel’s untitled film, which is being referred to as NTRNeel. The producer line-up includes Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, and Hari Krishna Kosaraju.
NTRNeel’s crew incliudes Neel’s frequent collaborators, Ravi Basrur on music, Bhuvan Gowda handling cinematography, and Chalapathi in charge of production design. The makers announced that NTRNeel will hit cinemas worldwide on June 25, 2026, releasing across multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
