At the success meet for Little Hearts on Sunday evening, Adivi Sesh delivered heartfelt praise for director Sai Marthand, highlighting the filmmaker's exceptional dedication and craft. The event, celebrating the romantic comedy's positive reception, saw Sesh speaking candidly about what sets Marthand apart in the industry.
"You know I am not the type to play tactics. I don't invite directors for dinners, offer them cheques and lock their dates," Sesh remarked, emphasising his straightforward approach to collaboration and added, "But I am telling you, Marthand is the kind of director we as actors want to work with."
Sesh was particularly impressed by Marthand's ability to balance comedy and emotion throughout the filmmaking process in Little Hearts. "Marthand made all of us laugh. I am telling you, this guy's craft is something else," he said, before noting the director's skill in crafting the film's more poignant moments: "Marthand also made us emotional in the second half."
The actor also shed light on the intensive production schedule, revealing that the team "worked 16 hours continuously for 30-35 days. It's not easy to make a film like Little Hearts."
Written and directed by Sai Marthand, Little Hearts stars YouTuber-turned-actor Mouli Tanuj and Shivani Nagaram in lead roles. The film follows the charming story of Akhil, a long-term underachieving student, and his pursuit of equally underachieving Khaathyaayini. Their journey navigates education pressures, family expectations, friendships, and relationship goals with refreshing light-heartedness.
The technical team includes cinematographer Suriya Balaji, editor Sreedhar Sompally, and music composer Sinjith Yerramilli. Producer Aditya Hasan brought the project to life with backing from ETVWin. Little Hearts continues its golden run while it makes waves in the industry.
