The recently screened documentary Prodduturu Dasara, directed by Murali Krishna Tumma and produced by Prem Kumar Valapala, offered a vivid look at one of Andhra Pradesh’s most spectacular cultural celebrations. Presented by Balcony Originals in collaboration with Bushetti Jewellers, the film was showcased in a special event on Friday drawing filmmakers, actors, and cultural enthusiasts to witness this deep dive into the legendary Prodduturu Dasara festival.

Speaking at the event, director Karuna Kumar who made Palasa 1978, described the film as a refreshing take on documentary filmmaking. “Documentaries showcase events or facts related to a person.
