ETVWin adds anthology series 4 Tales, carrying the tagline “Four Stories, Four Emotions, Four Sundays.” The series is part of the platform’s creative initiative, Katha Sudha, which aims to nurture and showcase emerging short film voices in Telugu cinema.
The anthology kicked off this Sunday (October 12, 2025) with its first instalment, The Mask, now streaming exclusively on ETV Win. The project was launched by Ram Gopal Varma, Harish Shankar, and GV Prakash who came together to unveil the trailer.
A slick blend of suspense, dark humour, and human drama, The Mask follows a young man whose life spirals out of control after losing everything to cricket betting. In a desperate bid to turn his luck, he attempts a daring robbery but fate, as it often does, has other plans.
The film is directed and produced by Kothapally Suresh under the Katha Gani Pictures banner, with Rishikeshwar Yogi of Narudi Brathuku Natana fame presenting it. The cast features Raavan Nitturi and Gaddam Srinivas in lead roles, while Akshay Vasuri handles the cinematography, Vishal Bharadwaj provides the score, and Rishikeshwar Yogi doubles as the editor. The creative team also includes co-producers Baby Viransh and Deepika Alola, with Dhruv Chitran serving as executive producer.
With The Mask setting the tone, three more short films are lined up to stream over the next three Sundays, each exploring a distinct emotion and storytelling style. The anthology 4 Tales promises to be a mix of genres, moods, and voices, reflecting the diversity of Telugu creativity beyond mainstream cinema.
By curating 4 Tales under the Katha Sudha banner, ETVWin continues to expand its space as a platform for experimental and engaging Telugu storytelling.
