Telugu actors are busy at the Indian Panorama section of IFFI, currently underway in Goa. Actress and producer Niharika Konidela is attending the festival for the screening of her film Committee Kurrollu, which was showcased on Thursday. Niharika has produced the film, directed by Yadhu Vamsi. The film is also nominated in the Best Debut Director category, which has stiff competition this year. Niharika and her team are staying in Goa until the final awards are announced.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna Akkineni is also in Goa. His iconic film Shiva, which completed 36 years recently, received a special screening at the festival, and he attended the event. On the sidelines, Niharika met Nagarjuna, who asked her about the details of her film. She also introduced her team, and the actor wished them good luck.
Nagarjuna spent some time interacting with the Committee Kurrollu team. In the meantime, Niharika shared on Instagram that she had attended the same festival 14 years ago as a Mass Communication student, and returning now as a producer of her first film felt like “life coming full circle—quietly, and then all at once.” Niharika and her team spent quality time with Nagarjuna at IFFI.
