Avinash Thiruveedhula is making his debut as both director and lead actor with Vaanara. The film aims to captivate audiences with a powerful mythological rural drama. Simran Choudhary plays the female lead, while Nandu appears as the antagonist. The film is produced by Avinash Buyani, Alapati Raju, and C Ankit Reddy. Sai Madhav Burra has penned the dialogues, and Vivek Sagar has composed the music.
The teaser of the film was unveiled by Manchu Manoj, who praised Avinash’s dedication and hard work. “I’m happy to launch the teaser. Avinash is hardworking and talented. Handling both acting and directing in his very first film is no small feat. Today, content determines success — not budget or scale. Good cinema knows no boundaries and becomes Indian cinema,” said Manoj.
On this occasion, Manoj also stated that Avinash had fulfilled his father Hanumantha Rao's dream of seeing him as a hero. “Watching him today would make any father proud. I’ve seen the film; it has come out really well. The scenes featuring Shivaji Raja moved me emotionally. Very soon, I will also bring my project with Sai Madhav Burra garu, Aham Brahmasmi, back on track,” he added.
Actor Shivaji Raja, who plays a key role in the film, said, “Manoj has a golden hand. Just like the song he launched for Raju Weds Rambabu that became a hit, I wish the same success for Vaanara.” He added that he plays the role of Avinash’s father in the film. “He has immense talent, and I hope this project brings him great recognition,” said Shivaji Raja about Avinash.
“Becoming an actor was my father’s dream, and today that dream has come true. Our entire team worked hard for two and a half years,” said Avinash. He also thanked Manchu Manoj for gracing the event.
